No Repeats, Day 3
Stylenation, welcome to a typical work from home day for me. I'm pretty excited about the 30 for 30 challenge being over just so that I can get back to being more casual at home. Not that it wasn't good for me to get dressed and kind of care about what I'm wearing while I'm at home, but it's nice to just throw on whatever's clean and comfy sometimes. This is a pretty typical work-from-home outfit for me. I love this grey cardigan (which I realize looks kind of brown in the picture) because it's big, soft and cozy, perfect for lounging around and doing glamorous things like laundry and vacuuming.
Tomorrow is our holiday party at my office, so I'm baking cookies right now. I can't do much in the kitchen without my helper following me around. He can't have these cookies because of the chocolate, but he did get a treat after our photo shoot (he doesn't work for free).
Caridgan: Loft
Tee: Target
Jeans: Gap
Slippers: Gift from Fella (2008)
Pan and oven mitt: Crate & Barrel
Cookies: Pillsbury and Reese's
Oh lord. Those are my favorite cookies IN THE WORLD. I'm salivating, over here.
ReplyDeleteIf I give you my home address, will you mail me a box of those? j/k
ReplyDeleteTomorrow you'll probably get to see a work-from-home outfit on me, because we're supposed to get freezing rain, and if that happens they'll shut us down. It's embarrassing, for a Midwesterner -- or, it was until I tried to drive to work on a freezing rain day and almost got myself killed on some totally invisible ice.
I'm (almost) speechless with wonder over these cookies. They seem too good to be true or real.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'm glad Jude's got professional standards.
I am drooling over these cookies. I can testify to how amazing Anne's baking is. They are the cure for the common cold. What kind of treat did Jude get?
ReplyDeleteCute working at home outfit. Practical, adorable, and good for baking. Triple win!
Oh, nom, those cookies look so goooood.
ReplyDeleteThis is very close to what I really wear at home. You look great, Anne.
Great outfit and yummy dessert! xo style, she wrote
ReplyDeleteOh these prima donna doggy models! so demanding!
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look seriously yum. I'm so behind on my baking this year (as in haven't started) and every time someone posts about what they are baking I think "Ahh I need to get going!"
But then I sit and read 10 more blogs instead. Ha.
Chic on the Cheap
Oh my--those look more like cupcakes than cookies!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite work-from-home outfit also includes a soft gray cardigan. What is it about a soft gray cardigan that just says: chill?
Jude's a hoot. Does he always wear his harness in the house?
Wow, I should feature my baked goods in posts more often :)
ReplyDeleteCynthia: I'd totally mail you some too! And I'm excited to see your work-from-home outfit. I always wonder how we all really dress for that.
A-Dubs: Of course Jude has standards. It's written into his contract that he gets a treat for every photo he crashes.
Rad: Aw, thanks for the baking compliment! Jude got his standard milk bone, nothing exciting.
Sheila: I'd love to say they're good AND low points, but not much is during the holidays :)
SSW: Thank you, and thanks for stopping by!
Lyddie: I'm behind on my baking too! My mom and I are going to do some serious cookie baking when I'm home in Ohio next week, but I haven't done much up until now.
Charlotte: Gray is a very chill color for me, I guess. Jude had just been on a walk and I forgot to take his harness off, but he doesn't always wear it (though it appears that way from the pictures, doesn't it?)
