Blue and Grey with a Dash of Paprika

No Repeats, Day 23
Friday 01/07/11
Happy Friday, Stylenation!  How was your first week of the new year?  I still can't quite kick this cold, and I even woke up without a voice this morning!  Fortunately, that doesn't make a difference to blogging :)

In Monday's comments, Charlotte suggested I added "a dash of paprika or cilantro" to my blues and greys.  So that's what this outfit is trying to accomplish.  I like the colors together, but since it's a slight departure from my typical style - mainly the tucking in and belting - I guess it looks off to me.  What do you think?  Hit, or miss?

Cardigan & Tank: Gap
Skirt: Loft
Belt, tights & shoes: Target
Necklace: New York & Company

  1. I think your outfit looks great. I like the red, and even through it is different it is still a very "Anne" look.

  2. Very crisp. I like the stripes. Hey, do I know that cardigan? It looks super-familiar :)

  3. Hit, not miss! I think you're not used to the higher visible waistline but it looks great on you. It makes your long legs look very long. And the dash of paprika is such a great title.

  7. Whoo-hoo, lady! Now, don't you feel happier? Find yourself some happy red shoes & you'll be all set for February--even if you can only wear them indoors.

  9. I agree it's a hit! Can the striped top go it alone? Because I think it would be even more of a hit without the cardigan - you know? Like you swung it on New Year's?
