Another Friday in a Denim Skirt

08/12/11
Apologies for the late post today - I'm just finally getting around to posting.  Eh, it happens.  I love a casual Friday, but I just can't stand the thought of wearing jeans just yet, so a denim skirt is perfect.  That explains why I wore one last Friday too.  And the Friday before that.  And probably lots of other Fridays.  Oh well.

What are you up to this weekend?  Fella and I are headed to the Chicago Botanic Gardens tomorrow.  I went there for the first time with Kristen of Low Fat Dressing in June (oh my goodness, I'm even wearing a denim skirt in my garden wrap-up post!), and I'm excited to go back.  A couple of our friends are going too, so that should be fun.  Aside from that, we don't have a lot going on, which isn't bad.  Hope you all have a good weekend!

Tank: Ann Taylor Outlet (remixed)
Skirt: Old Navy (remixed a few too many times)
Sandals: Born (remixed)
Necklace: Randolph Street Market (remixed)

  1. We have no big plans for our weekend--but we do have a 6 year old living under our roof now and we are trying to get he and his mother settled into a pre-school year routine.

If they took away my denim skirt, I'd be naked most Fridays! I like your casual, polished look. No special weekend plans here, just reading, gardening and if I'm lucky, a little thrifting.

  3. Denim skirts are totally essential! I love them-- too bad I only have 1 pair and can't shop for more until December! :(

This weekend, I'm gonna play more video games! Because I can :)

  5. Dont feel bad about frequently remixing the denim skirt, it's a classic essential. And it looks fab on you!
