Happy Monday, all! It was another busy weekend here. What were you up to? On Saturday, Fella and I went with a couple of friends to watch the Chicago Fire play Manchester United. I got this jersey for free (so hard to pass up free!), but opted to let Fella wear it to the game because it's just not my style.
That, and Jude wore it so much better than me. I couldn't compete.
Last night, Fella and I went to see Bon Iver perform at the Chicago Theater. We've seen Bon Iver before, but only at outdoor music festivals, so it was really cool to see them at such a nice, historic venue as the Chicago Theater. And they were awesome! Here's what I wore:
Dress: Target (remixed)
Sandals: Born (remixed)
Bag: Coach, gifted (remixed)
Earrings: Bohm via Hazel (worn previously, but I can't find them...)
And here's what I saw while walking over the Chicago River. Isn't it gorgeous?
Unfortunately, the weekend had to come to an end, so here's what I'm wearing for work today. It's finally cooled off enough for sleeves again, which is a nice change. 80 is sooo much better than 95.
Tee: Loft
Skirt: Target (remixed)
Necklace: New York & Company (remixed)
Sandals: Aerosoles (remixed)
Last and not least, as if that wasn't enough, at the end of last week we formally adopted Kameko! She loves Jude, and Jude's getting used to having a sister, so we're all pretty happy (as you can see).
Are you taunting that dog with an onion in the first pic? Hee hee. Congrats on your new family member. Also, jealous re: Bon Iver.
ReplyDeleteNah, it's Jude's favorite toy - an orange rubber chicken.
ReplyDeleteYay! Two puppies who are adorable! And Jude does wear that jersey well. We may or may not have photos of our cat "dressed" (for a split second) in my husband's team's t-shirt (Olympiakos, for those wondering). And I love the look for today's outfit. Everything goes together so seamlessly...
ReplyDeletei agree, jude rocks the jersey, you should let him have it :)
ReplyDeleteloving your concert dress, and i love bon iver, must have been such a great weekend!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one who may or may not dress my pets up :)
ReplyDeleteHe wears it so well, doesn't he? I may have entered that photo in my company's annual cutest pet contest (he was slighted last year).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cityscape! I love the breezy blue dress, and yeay for 80s!
ReplyDeleteJude does wear that soccer jersey like a champ.
Congrats on the new pup! Don't you just love those doggy smiles?
ReplyDeleteThe pink sandals look fantastic with the navy blue dress. . .
Every time I see the Fire play, I wonder why you all don't shake cowbells as your noisemakers. So appropriate...
ReplyDeleteI once got in a lot of trouble for cheering for the Fire. Granted, I like to cheer for whatever visiting team is playing to try and balance out the energy of the stadium, but Rapids fans get really made when you like the Fire.
Hurray for the new pup!
AWWW a new member of the family - officially : ) congrats! I love that last photo pf the happy pups.
ReplyDeleteLove all your outfits, but Jude in the jersey wins. You're right 80 does feel so much cooler than the 95 with heat index of 110 we've been having here in Ohio.

I don't think i realized you're in Ohio! I grew up there :)
ReplyDeleteJude has a wardrobe and a playmate! And, yes, we've had rain so it is cooling off here as well.
ReplyDeleteI feel that you have not received enough in the way of compliments for your shoes, both the black and the pink snadals.
ReplyDeleteThat blue dress looks so great on you. Your pup looks styling in that jersey!
ReplyDeleteHee, I know the company sponsoring your soccer team! :)
ReplyDeleteThe blue dress is lovely on you; my favorite of the weekend. But I really have to give a shout-out to your awesome haircut; it looks great styled so many different ways! I am jealous.
Shh, don't tell! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat's funny about my hair is that I haven't had it cut (with the exception of bang trims) since April!
