Getting Back in Style
It's taken me a while, but I think I'm finally starting to break out of my summer style rut. I'm really looking forward to fall fashion (it's my favorite time of year sartorially and otherwise), so I guess that's inspiring me. I wasn't sure about wearing this skirt to work since it's pretty casual, but I think belting it and throwing on a cardigan has helped. I know these are minor things, but it seems to have made a huge difference in the skirt compared to the last time I wore it.
Cardigan & Tank: Target

Glad to hear! It's gotten a bit cooler, hasn't it? I'm still doubtful that it'll last, but that's just my paranoia talking. I really can't wait for colder weather!
ReplyDeleteThis is a cute outfit! It looks like a 50s silhouette! The flower pin is adorable!
I dig the midi for the office look. I'm totally with you on looking forward to fall dressing! I am fed up with the heat and humidity (today's been OK so far, though).
ReplyDeleteHome run, lady - it's fantastic!
ReplyDeleteusing red as your accent color and adding that belt really does make this skirt looks classy and more professional.
ReplyDeleteThe cardigan and belt really glam it up, and at the same time make it more subtle. Perfect for the office. I'm really digging that flower pin.

Such a great skirt! Love how you belted it and added color with the cardi!
ReplyDeleteI really like the skirt styled this way. The belt really takes it up a level or four in formality.
