Been There, Done That

07/27/11
Good morning, Stylenation!  If this outfit looks familiar, it's because I wore most of the components together recently, here.  No?  Well, it's also a pretty close copy of this outfit.  I was about to title this post "Same old, same old," but it turns out I've already written a post with that title.  Wow, talk about creativity running dry!  But really, once you find something that works, why not stick with it?  I went out for an 8.5 mile bike ride this morning, so by the time I got back home and started getting ready for work, I guess I just didn't feel like thinking too hard about what to wear.  Thank goodness for easy to put together outfits!

Tank: Target
Cardigan: Loft
Skirt: Old Navy
Necklace: Ann Taylor
Sandals: Privo

  1. I am definitely an "almost repeat" outfit offender. And I a huge repeat accessorize. Could i possibly be wearing my gold bracelets more?

    But when it works...

  2. Well, this outfit is full of win so why not rock the copy.  I have been wearing the same things quite a bit lately and going barefoot a lot since I'm not teaching and I often spend the day researching/writing from home.

Nice job to get in an am bike ride!

  3. Taking it from festival casual to work appropriate with a mere wink of her sartorial eye, it's tCC's Anne!

Also, bikeriding before work, huh? You are seriously hardcore. Do the dogs run alongside?

  4. I seriously am wearing almost none of my wardrobe right now.  Why yes I am rocking this same grey knit skirt, white tank top and cream cardigan AGAIN.  But hey, as long as it looks good, right?

  5. I'm impressed that you were able to fit in a long bike ride before work!  I like to think that if an outfit works, stick with that combo!

  6. Hey, it still looks awesome, so why not?

  7. haha- I've no judgement for rewearing similar combos... I basically have been rotating the same 6 layering pieces and one sundress all summer long... and barely wearing new stuff I got. I'll probably end up wearing the summer stuff in the fall under fall sweaters/ cardigans... silly me. I love the concept of your blog, I'm new here! keep it up!

  8. Good for you on the bike ride!  That's fabulous.  And this outfit is pretty fabulous too.  It looks both comfortable and flattering.  I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it (other people say that too, actually).

  9. I say, when it looks this good, keep wearing it!  Also, holy hardcore with the bike ride before work!  Nicely done!

  10. I am impressed with the length of your bike rides...and how put together you are after.  Our only bike is a tandem--which means that DH does most of the work and I simply ride behind.

  11. I need to get one of those! The antique shop down the street has a vintage Schwinn tandem that always looks so fun, though I don't think Fella would go for it.

  12. I'm feeling it now though - unfortunately hardcore in the morning means totally exhausted at night!

  16. Wow, that'd be a sight to see!  I can barely walk the two dogs together yet, much less take them for a bike ride.
