Same Old, Same Old
Happy Friday! There's nothing too exciting about today's outfit. I mean, I like it, but the combination of jeans, a tee and a cardigan has pretty much been my uniform as of late (even more so on days I'm not blogging). It's just so easy.
Cardigan: Target
Tee, Necklace & Shoes: Loft
Jeans: Gap
To make up for the average, formulaic outfit, here's some pictures of Jude being stylish after a visit to the vet's office. We don't know how, but he broke one of his nails, so I had to take him to get it removed this week. The vet gave him a pretty sassy bandage, but to keep it clean, they also wrapped his paw for the trip home in a make-shift bootie - made out of an IV bag and some gauze. I'm sure it's wrong to laugh at it, but it was pretty funny.
As you can see, he's in excruciating pain here. When he refused to stop trying to eat said bandage, we had to resort to socks. He's a fan of argyle. And the treat that I was holding while taking his picture.

Your big baby is wonderful. I hope he feels better soon. And I love the color of your top and the necklace. It's a good combo.
ReplyDeleteHey, there's nothing wrong with a cardigan and a tee shirt. I think I wear that combo approximately five days a week. Unless I'm wearing a cardigan and a dress.
ReplyDeleteJude looks great in purple.
I like the bright blue top and the hat.
ReplyDeletePoor Jude. Maddie broke a nail once and got a bright pink bandage. I think she liked it because it got her more attention.
Judy: Thanks, he's already feeling a lot better :)
ReplyDeleteCynthia: Jude gets his purple-wearing skills from me, obviously. And I wear cardigans so much, I seriously almost titled Wednesday's post "Look! I'm not wearing a cardigan!"
Rebecca: Ha! Jude has to walk with a rubber bootie now, and he loves all the attention he's getting.
Hey, there Shabby Apple Dress winner! I love that necklace.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear Jude broke a nail, but glad to read he's already feeling better!
the little detail on the collar is so pretty.
ReplyDeleteA classic combo! I really like that blue on you and that toque is amazing.
ReplyDeletePoor Jude! Glad to see he's his cheerful self -- IV bag and all!
Oh, no. Poor Jude. I love how adorable he is, even when injured.
ReplyDeleteAnd I think your outfit is a perfect Friday outfit. The tee is a fantastic color for you, has nice detail at the neck and the hate is fabulous.
lol. I just wrote that your hate is fabulous. And that is so not what I meant!! I blame it on my dog.
ReplyDeleteArgyle....ha! Super cute!
ReplyDeleteI totally hear you when it comes to getting in a rut with whatever feels the most comfortable. But you still look great! It's the way you use your colors and accessories that really make your style into 'outfits'.
Actually I quite like your tiny ruffle and necklace...and of course, the dog's sock.
ReplyDeleteThe necklace is pretty, Anne--the colors!
ReplyDeletePoor Jude. He looks quite stylish despite his injury.
Aaawww! How is Jude? Hope he is ok now... :(
ReplyDeleteAwww, poor jude. love that tongue. Hope he doesn't eat all your socks before he's healed.
