Why Is It So Hard to Think Up a Post Title?
After a pretty good lull at work, I'm finally busy again. Actually being challenged by work seems to have sapped me of my usual creative, witty posting. I know, it's a bummer. The good news is that today is my Friday! Fella and I are both off tomorrow, and this weekend we'll be attending the Pitchfork Music Festival. This will be my 4th year going to Pitchfork, and although I'm not nearly as up on indie music as others (like Fella), I always have a great time. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Neko Case, the Fleet Foxes and Animal Collective, all groups I've seen at prior summer festivals.
In other news, the dogs seem to be getting along really well thus far. They were both eager to join in my photo shoot this morning, so it's good that Kameko is down with blogging.

They look hungry. Also. Pitchfork? Jellus.
ReplyDeleteIt think "Kameko is down with blogging" would have been a good title.
ReplyDeleteI love thursday fridays. those are the best. Hope you have a fun time at pitchfork, i'm sure it will be awesome!
wow pitchfork : ) have a blast. I wish I could have such cute blog photo buddies .
ReplyDeleteSo I'm WAY behind on my commenting but I love that you now have another photogenic, smiley dog! Also, Pitchfork? Jealous.
ReplyDeleteYou guys all match! Double puppy love!
ReplyDeleteYou have a second dog? Must catch up on my blog reading.
ReplyDeleteI think Kameko is settling in nicely! Photobombing like a pro! I have 2 dogs but they came as a pair, so not sure about integrating new ones. I think if they get along well to begin with, that's a good start! Have fun at the festival!
ReplyDelete#1: Love the skirt
ReplyDelete#2: Neko Case! Ahhh!!
#3: Why are dog butts always so cute?
The dogs are adorable. I like being busy at work, but it definitely zaps my blogging energy.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo, have fun at Pitchfork!
ReplyDeleteI love coming up with blog titles; sometimes it's part of the topic I want to cover, sometimes it's just a phrase that pops in my head. I hate when I am doing challenges and I give it the same title all the time. 30 Days of Creativity nearly sapped all the creativity OUT of me! LOL.
:) happy early weekend to you! (even though it is already Friday as I leave this comment). I love that purple skirt!
ReplyDeleteI, too, approve of Kameko's camera readiness. And of her Jude-like adoration of you.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time this weekend. When you get back, can we see a close-up of the details on this skirt? They look awesome, but I can't quite make them out.
Well it happens I wasn't the only stylish blogger wearing this skirt yesterday - Randi has the detail here: http://momlostfound.blogspot.com/2011/07/i-will-take-one-of-each-please.html
ReplyDeleteNeko Case was great! She's always a fun live act :)
ReplyDeleteI think titles are generally the trickiest part about writing for me. I even have this issue when writing emails.
ReplyDeleteI think Jude gave her a bunch of tips on the right way to photo bomb.
ReplyDeleteShoot, that would've been a perfect title.
ReplyDeleteDogs! Cute! Ahh! Also, totally have to jump in and say that I "discovered" the Fleet Foxes about a year and a half ago and am totally smitten. Lucky you, that you get to see them live!
ReplyDeleteThis will be my third time seeing them live! I saw them at Pitchfork 2008 and Lollapalooza 2009. They sound a lot like their albums, but it's so cool to see them play and realize that their harmony is just them singing together, not the result of mixing in a studio.
ReplyDeleteWhat are you wearing to the concert??
ReplyDeleteVery cute, the skirt looks great because you have such shapely legs! ~ B
