Play Ball
If you've been thinking we haven't had a party at my office in a while, you'd be right! Today we're celebrating the start of the baseball season with a baseball-themed lunch and, much like Hawaiian shirt day, we've been encouraged to wear baseball related things. Of course, I could just wear Fella's Cubs jersey and call it a day. But that wouldn't be very Anne-like, would it? I mean, how do you get a cardigan over a bulky, mens jersey? I don't think so. Instead, I'm representing my hometown team, the Toledo Mud Hens. Complete with a cardigan, shiny shoes, and fun jewelry. Who says baseball can't still be a little girly?
Jude's been a little absent from the photos lately, but he joined in today's shoot. And he even brought a prop! Actually, I think he was hoping to trade me his bone for some of the Scotcheroos that I made for work.
Cardigan: Target
Shirt: Bought in Toledo, OH
Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Privo
Earrings: Hazel (remixed)

I love it so, so much when animals (especially dogs) carry toys around. And I also love how you built your outfit!
ReplyDeleteBaseball related has never looked so good! Jude is accessorizing - clearly he is very fashion forward.
ReplyDeleteThose cookies look goooood....nomnomnom.
I can't believe it is already baseball season. It is still cold here! Your t-shirt is cute.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what a Scotcheroo is (I am hoping it contains scotch, but I suspect it's actually butterscotch!), but I want one.
ReplyDeleteLove your Mudhens shirt, and Jude is always a great accessory.
Ha! That would make these so much better :) Sadly, it is just butterscotch. And chocolate. And peanut butter. So they're still pretty good.
ReplyDeleteHere too. I don't know why they even bother playing games in the Midwest before May. It's always cold and/or snowing.
ReplyDeleteJude is definitely fashion forward. I was thisclose to buying him a Cubs harness so he could show his love for baseball too.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Sometimes it's like he can't go anywhere without his bone.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOH, those look delish... yum.
ReplyDeleteParties at work... what a foreign concept... I like that you decided to keep it cute and go with the fitted tee and cardi!
ReplyDeleteI want a scotcheroo too! Did you wear a baseball cap as well?
ReplyDeleteIt's too bad you don't live nearby, I have plenty of baked goods (including Scotcheroos) tgfhat need homes. I have a few baseball caps that I wear pretty regularly, but they're not allowed in the office.
ReplyDeleteWork parties almost make up for the tedious work some days. I do appreciate that we get to do something fun nearly once a month though.
