Golden Autumn Day
When I bought this dress back in August, I wondered about other ways to style it than just with some sandals. The weather has, indeed, cooled off, making way for a scarf and some boots. I think the dress works pretty well in a fall iteration. We had gorgeous 70 degree weather yesterday (though with some intermittent rain), but it's cooled back down today and sort of looking like rain. I kind of miss the warmer weather of August and I'm not looking forward to winter, but it's nice to have more options with my clothes than wearing as little as possible because it's really hot out. How about you? Do you prefer warm weather or cooler weather dressing?

Such a great dress! I very much prefer cooler weather dressing -- like you said, there are more options when you're not trying to determine the most socially acceptable way to be almost naked in public.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely a cold weather dresser, so I can't wait for cooler temps to hit the south this coming weekend. That dress is cute and very versatile.
ReplyDeleteI like the dress with the scarf and tights. I think it is easier to dress for cool weather, though I do get sick of my warm clothes by mid-winter.
ReplyDeleteI love dressing for the cooler weather. That dress looks great winterized....love the added color with that scarf!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful fall look. The added color with the scarf is just perfect.
ReplyDeletethat dress has a great print - i would be fab under a blazer too.
ReplyDeleteyou know i'm a summer lover, through and through.
Cool weather! Bring on the sweater dresses, tights, and boots, baby!
ReplyDeleteCool weather dressing all the way!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you autumn-ized the dress. :)
I totally love colder weather, and you already know that about me! It's all about the options, like you said! In the summer, I worry about being modest enough to go outside!
ReplyDeleteps. Guinness Chocolate cupcakes? wha wha?? I wanna try!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dress! I love the colour of the scarf.
ReplyDeleteI prefer cool weather dressing, but, then again, it's always cool here so I don't really remember what it's like to dress for hot weather. I visited family last summer and wore a tank top and skirt for the first time in about two years I think. My cousin's husband remarked that I looked like a vampire on vacation. Cool weather, definitely cool weather.
