No Repeats, Day 26
It's been snowing here all day today. I'm working from home, so not having to go out in the snow makes it much more enjoyable. I've got a pretty slow work day today, so after having a girlfriend over for lunch, Jude and I went outside to play in the snow. I think catching snowballs might be his favorite thing to do ever.

Ah, we have snow too. But the temps are SO COLD, I do not want to venture out...although I keep imagining all sorts of wonderful photos I could be taking!
ReplyDeleteI love your tuque!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the doggy is having a blast - you look cozy and lovely. Very northern chic!
This is like an ad sequence for somewhere northern and fun. I love that you can frolic in the snow AND have your coat undone. Like Terri, I live where that's just not possible; so I am living vicariously through your stylish frolicking.
ReplyDeleteWe've been having snow all day too, though it hasn't been very heavy. Iam ready for winter to be done.
ReplyDeleteYeay for the sweater leggings. How did you manage to look so warm and cute? I'm glad you enjoyed the snow day.
ReplyDeleteAgreeing with A-Dubs- this is like an ad for Midwest living.
This makes going outside look like much more fun than it actually is.
ReplyDeleteYes, what Rad said. You look so warm and cute. The photo almost makes me want to play in the snow, almost. (That's saying something because I HATE the snow)
ReplyDeleteSnow! I love the furry dog accessory. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the stripey hat!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have had a snow day, but the semester must go on -- or in this case, start.
Very cute and cozy and I think... we might be wearing the same color today. It looks gorgeous on you! Gracey
ReplyDeleteTerri: Snow and warmer weather is pretty rare for us here, and it does make for good picture taking :)
ReplyDeleteAllison: Thank you! And now I know what a "tuque" is.
A-Dubs: So does the ad and our clearly nicer weather actually sell Chicago in the winter? And I zipped my coat up pretty quickly after I finished with the pictures, so it wasn't *too* warm.
Rebecca: Me too! I like the snow for the first couple of days, but in general, it could be spring now and I'd be happy.
Rad: I think the giant, down-filled coat helps with the warm look :)
K. Bean: Going outside is fun... for a little bit. I was inspired by your playing-in-the-snow outfits last week.
SU: I assume most people in warmer climates must hate snow, but I'm glad I can make it look kind of good anyway.
Sheila: Heh, yes, Jude is the perfect accessory on a snowy day.
LHdM: Happy start of the semester!
Gracey: Thank you! Pink is definitely one of my favorite colors to wear.
You look lovely in pantones color of the year! And Jude looks like he is having so much fun. I could never throw a snow ball at my dog. It would hit her in the face and she would think I hated her.
ReplyDeleteglad you are enjoying the snow!
Chic on the Cheap
Snowy here today too, Anne--and I wore my coat that looks like yours. My dogs aren't snow fans, though. They tried to get out & get in ASAP.
